The 28th Annual Massachusetts International Auto Show is the weekend of January 29-31.
The 51st Annual Frank Maratta “Show of Dreams” Auto & Cycle Show presented by Town Fair Tire is the weekend of February 5-7.
So why is Lime Rock telling you this? Hey, why else?
Because we’re going to be at both shows! And we want you to come by to say “Hi,” and enter a VERY special drawing. We can’t tell you any more at this point...
* The Mass. Auto Show is at the DCU Center in Worcester (“Wista!”), Mass. This terrific show – go to www.worcestershows.com to get a free admission ticket – is all about new cars, trucks and SUVs. It’s a great place to see the 2010 line-ups (and some 2011s!) from every automaker, including BMW. Lime Rock has a nice display here, including Highcroft Racing’s Lotus 79 Formula 1 car – the exact car Mario Andretti won the 1978 F1 world championship with!
* The following week is Frank Maratta’s very popular show at the Connecticut Expo Center in Hartford, Conn. This show’s about cool cars, rods, customs and very special bikes. The Lime Rock display will be killer... We’ll have the Whelen Modified Tour car driven by Renee Dupuis – and she’ll be there herself on Saturday, from 5:30 to 8:30 (we scammed her into joining the “Five Women Wrenching” team for Saturday night’s Pit Crew Challenge sponsored by NHMS) --
