Sunday in the Park Concours & Gathering of the Marques

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE CONCOURS APPLICATION

Lime Rock Park's “Sunday in the Park Concours” has reached a level of prestige unsurpassed in recent years. Significant cars, people and collectors are now its hallmark, and 2013’s event will continue the tradition.

The Concours attracts everything from Brass Era and pre-WWI jewels to rare and unique vehicles from the 1920s onward. Passenger cars, race cars, one-offs and everything of importance to vintage automobile fans make their way to Lime Rock’s front straight for this very special early autumn Concours.

But there’s even more! Since 2009, the Sunday show also includes the “Gathering of the Marques,” which is literally hundreds of cars lining the rest of the track, grouped by make, model or country of origin. You’ll see huge displays of Shelbys and BMWs and Corvettes and Jaguars and MGs! Astons, Rolls and Lotuses! Porsches, Peugeots and Panteras! Volvos and Saabs, Minis, Mercurys, Mercedes and Mopars! Ferraris, Fiats and Lambos!

If it’s an interesting, fun car, you can be sure their owners find their way to Lime Rock’s Gathering of the Marques to park next to their brethren.

In other words, Sunday in the Park and the Gathering of the Marques in beautiful Lime Rock Park needs to be on your family’s calendar for the Labor Day Weekend!

August 30 - September 2, 2013, Historic Festival 31 & Sunday in the Park Concours
No other venue in the U.S. has three days of on-track racing sandwiching a prestigious concours event – all on the same property. Since 1983, the East Coast’s premier vintage racing event has been the Historic Festival and its companion “Sunday in the Park Concours” (Sept. 1). With its famous free paddock access for all fans, Historic Festival 31 will be a feast for the senses: More than 300 vintage race cars will fill the grounds, the Swap Meet in the B Paddock will be packed, the Midway is always alive with activities – and the racing on the track is non-stop from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Monday. Historic Festival 31... There’s nothing like it anywhere else!
