Sports Car Club of America

Not all of the races at Lime Rock Park mean big-buck race transporters and drivers with foreign accents. Some events at Lime Rock Park are more like a small party, where you happen to watch the guy next door working on his car before jumping into a driver suit, strapping on a helmet and going out for a race.

The Sports Car Club of America is the quintessential grassroots motorsports program, from open-wheel formula cars to big-bore production machines and everything in between. The SCCA has been providing thrills for fans and participants alike for over fifty years.

Lime Rock Park has long been a proud host to the SCCA, staging events for the  New England, Northern New Jersey, New York and Mohawk-Hudson Regions of the SCCA. Often described as "amateur road racing at its best,” the SCCA races are a perfect setting for weekend warriors. The SCCA, which boasts over 100 different chapters around the country, also provides aspiring racers a way to turn their dreams into the best thing possible to brag about come Monday at the office.

The SCCA will visit Lime Rock Park during 2008:

SCCA - New York Region: 27 September 2008

SCCA - Northern New Jersey Region: 2 August 2008
